Biography

Dr. Syed Salman Mustafa is a scholar of Islamic History, an Advocate of the High Court, and a Guest Lecturer at Baba Guru Nanak University, Nankana Sahib.

He has served as Former Chairman of Religious Affairs at the Lahore High Court and is a Member of the National Peace Committee, Islamabad, Pakistan, as well as a Member of the Gurdwara Janam Asthan Committee, Nankana Sahib. He has authored twelve international research articles and ten scholarly books in five languages: English, Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Punjabi, encompassing both prose and poetry.

He regularly delivers lectures through national and international media on peacebuilding, interfaith harmony, human and minority rights, and related contemporary issues. He has received national and international awards for academic scholarship, writing, and authorship and has participated in numerous scholarly seminars, conferences, and academic forums. Beyond academia, he serves as Markazi Amir (Central Leader) of Ahl-e-Sunnat Jamat Pakistan and as Sajjada Nashin (Spiritual Custodian) of Astana-e-Aliya Qadriya Chishtiya Sabriya, Nankana Sahib, providing religious and community leadership to a substantial following and contributing to interfaith engagement, community service, and peacebuilding.
